Women in Energy
We are proud supporters of the POWERful Women initiative which aims to encourage and promote more women across the UK’s energy sector. We’ve pledged to increase our proportion of female executives to 30% and the proportion of women in senior roles to 40% by 2020.
We agree with Baroness Verma, co-founder of POWERful Women and Minister for Energy and Climate Change, who said:
“The energy sector faces a range of challenges, and inclusion of more women in senior roles brings fresh perspectives, improves future decision making and enhances stakeholder trust.
