I’m Elizabeth Wright, a Director of Technology and Transformation with over 20 years of experience leading strategic change across FTSE 100 organisations. At British Airways, I’m proud to drive enterprise transformation within the Customer & Commercial Domain—shaping digital strategy, cloud-enabled innovation, and agile ways of working to deliver meaningful impact. Over the years, I’ve led £250M+ portfolios across aviation, retail, manufacturing, and hospitality. Modernising legacy systems, enhancing customer experiences, and driving data-led decision making. I’m passionate about delivery transformation and building high-performing, diverse teams. Supporting women in tech is something I truly care about diverse perspectives are essential when navigating complexity and driving innovation.

My journey began with a part-time Business Information Technology degree while working at Madge Networks—where I quickly realised that network engineering wasn’t for me! Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping to shape transformation at some of the UK’s most iconic brands, applying what I’ve learned to new technology challenges. If you’re considering a career in tech, my advice is simple: take the leap. The world of technology never stands still today it’s AI, tomorrow… who knows?
