Dear Women in Tech

Here is information about a free online workshop I’m running on impostor syndrome followed by why I think this would be valuable for your community :

Free online workshop : Banish Impostor Syndrome & Lead with Confidence

Are you convinced you don’t deserve a seat at the table and constantly afraid of being “found out”? Worried that people are bound to discover sooner or later that you’re not as capable as they think?

When you’re stepping up to a new leadership role, or facing a bigger challenge, impostor syndrome can rear its ugly head, undermining your confidence and impact.

The word “syndrome” makes it sound like something you can’t do anything about. But the good news is that you can.

Impostor syndrome is a catch-all term for our brain’s natural response to a situation that feels scary. You have the power to shift this response so you can show up as the confident, impactful leader you want to be.

It’s not about competence – it’s about confidence.

Join me for this free online workshop where we’ll explore :

  • What’s really going on when impostor syndrome strikes
  • Why the Voice in your Head sounds so convincing
  • How to stop impostor feelings sabotaging your leadership

You’ll also have the chance to win a copy of my book Unleash Your Leadership : How to Worry Less and Achieve More.

The reasons why I think this workshop would be valuable to your community :

Research shows women hold only an estimated 21% of senior leadership positions in the tech sector. Whilst there are multiple reasons, confidence is one. Evolution has left all of us with a negativity bias, and neuroscience indicates women have come off worse.

Research shows that 50% of women experience self doubt in their performance and careers compared to 30% of men. What’s more, there is a direct correlation between how confident we feel and whether we achieve our career ambitions.

In my experience coaching leaders over the past 20 years, impostor syndrome can hold back leaders new in role from having the success and impact they want.

The good news is, we’re not hardwired. Through mind-body strategies grounded in neuroscience, we can change how we think and feel for the better, and become the calm, confident, impactful leaders we want to be.

Many thanks for reading. I would also be delighted to run a free workshop specifically for Women in tech if that would be of interest you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes
