Women in Tech Launches The Women in Tech Employer Awards 2020

Women in Tech are excited to announce the launch of The Women in Tech Employer Awards 2020.

The awards will celebrate employers and individuals going above and beyond to help close the gender gap in tech. There are so many tech companies in the UK that are making innovations in their recruitment processes, offering flexible working solutions, prioritising equal pay and recognising that attracting the female workforce is essential to encouraging growth in tech. The Women in Tech Employer Awards are an opportunity for those companies to shout about their exceptional work and inspire others who may share the same goal of increasing female tech talent.

The ceremony will take place on 11th November 2020 in The Grand Ballroom at The Montcalm Hotel, London. It’s certainly a night not to be missed with a glittering drinks reception, three-course meal and exciting awards show. Perhaps the most exciting aspect of the event is how it presents as an opportunity to bring diversity and inclusion professionals around the nation together for a night of celebration.

There are 20 categories employers can enter including Best Tech Employer, Mentor of the Year, Best Recruitment Marketing Campaign, Best Graduate Employer, Best Small Business Tech Employer and Best Public Sector Employer to name but a few.

Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts, including Founder of Women in Tech Anthony Sherick, President of Revolent Group, Nabila Salim, Kris Phelps, Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Penna, and Nikki Hayford, MD of Unik Seek. Representing a whole host of expertise across the industry they will judge against robust criteria, carefully considering evidence of excellence provided by entrants.
