Women In Tech came together in 2023 to:
“Support and inspire women in technology, by creating a welcoming group
that celebrates diversity and nurtures inclusion.”
We’re passionate about encouraging colleagues to support each other by:
· Offering support & mentorship to Women within technology at the Society
· Building a community where women in tech can network with peers
· Promoting gender diversity and inclusion within the tech industry
· Raising awareness about the challenges women face in tech
· Celebrating achievements and contributions of women in tech
· Inspiring the future generation of women into tech
So far, we’ve formed a strong WIT community and held some really engaging awareness sessions to promote what we do. This included sessions on subjects such as stereotyping, psychological safety and empowerment.
